No Sound output

suddenly, since upgrading to 26.1.1 verison, i have no audio output when I play an MP4 file. trying to get output to anything - speakers and / or prefer headset jack. Been using OBS for best part of a year...but this has me stumped. yes...if I play the MP4 file using Windows Media Player...all works well. Jammed up for sunday service...any thoughts? Yes...is see the signal and in Advanced Audio properties, i have the selection MONITOR.

if from the same mp4 (bad idear to record in mp4 you loose all on crash so use mkv)
one player have and another no sound
its a track select issue of the player
if you record multiple tracks then its like on a DVD with English/German/France/Mandarin if the sound is on Mandarin and your player select the 0 sound english line then you hear nothing

sorry...it is in MONITOR and OUTPUT...and the MP4 files OBS is playing run just fine on other players....so I do not believe it is a .MP4 file problem. The OBS audio mixer shows output...

i finally got it to work by activating all GLOBAL AUDIO DEVICES in Settings. NOW i get sound from the selected channel...strange.

this is happening on 2 separate computers with the same upgraded 26.1.1 version
