No sound on playback

Not sure what's going on with sound playback. I recently re installed Win 11, installe OBS with the same settings and when I replay recorded video there is no sound. Win 11 settings are all working and if replay a file from Ableton sound works fine.

It was working previously before re install

It's a simple setup with just a microphone and desktop audio so I can record guitar with a backing track playing

When I change settings to monitor and output it comes through the speakers.

Any advice please.
 
Well i got the latest version working. As I reinstalled Win 11 I thought I would just do a clean install and start again with the latest version. I had same settings but couldn't get sound. I knew sound was working as Ableton and Audacity was working.

This time I installed 31.1.1 as I had it backed up on my external drive and knew it worked. Installed previous version, set settings that worked with OBS and then upgraded to latest version. It's working great now.
