No Sound on OBS from my VHS Videos

I've just recently downloaded OBS to my PC and while the picture reproduction is great I have no sound and can't seem to find out how to get it. Any ideas - in simple terms please - no jargon! The Mic/Aux bar moves so there's obviously something there but my Desktop Audio bars don't move though set to maximum.

Hi. My obs is misconfigured. Divided into parts and I need you to enter my computer and fix it for me. Because I don't know how to do it any other way

Hi Geoff,

to solve a specific problem it needs that you involve yourself at least a bit into the issue and related technical terms.
All people helping here in the forum are volunteers and need enough information to help. We need to know about your technical environment, for instance how your VHS signal enters your computer (the cabling and the device), how the sound enters (cabling and device), too.
Try to explain the issue as clear and precise as possible: What for instance do you mean with "...so there's obviously something there". Can you hear a bit, or is totally silence there?

Without the (at least) needed amount of jargon nobody could help you. :)

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
