No sound input

Hi all, just reset my macbook running latest Ventura downloaded OBS again set it all up cameras fine software recognised rubix external soundcard, video streams fine but NO sound, changed input settings on laptop tried everything i can think of at my wits end just wanted to spin some oldskool vinyl on mixcloud, had no problem before I updated macOS, can't find anyone else with this issue, latest version of OBS 30.2.2

I found out last night that you have to manually add an additional audio input capture for audio to be recorded for some reason. I was using an audient evo 4 as an audio interface.

If the audio input capture is present in the scene then check its properties to make sure the right source is selected.
