No sound in OBS only on desktop

Hi guys hopefully someone can help me out with this problem. I have googled this problem and am not finding the answer to this problem. I have xbox connected to my pc via capture card to record. It records what ever i am watching but there is no sound i can hear it only through the desktop. When i close OBS i can still hear whatever is playing on xbox. I have the pc connected to the monitor with hdmi using AMD High Definition Audio Device and have the aux from monitor connected to a home stereo. I have no idea if its an issue through Windows 11 sound settings. Appreciate the help and thanks in advance.

I don't know how to edit a post. This is just an update even though i googled and watched many yt vids to resolve the problem and could not get it to work. My only option was to buy a software and it worked no problems at all. Any mods can close this post so no one can reply to it. Thanks
