No sound from yamaha Mg

I have a yamaha mg mixer connected to my laptop via usb. i dj and run the booth outputs to the mixer. when i click to add it as an audio capture device withen obs yamaha mg shows up, but there is no sound. i feel like i have tried everything at this point.
