Question / Help No Sound from Loopback in OBS

OBS is receiving sound from my iPhone mic, however i want to add audio to a scene from my DJ mixer (Xone:96) via USB into my MBP however this didn't work so installed Loopback, which works fine and has routed the channels across, plus I can now hear the music through my MBP speakers etc. However when I add an audio input and set it as Loopback no sound is registering. Any ideas?

so I’ve fixed this issue, if anyone stumbles across this thread with the same issue!

I also saw that when using the internal mic on my MBP there was also no audio registering either...

anyway the fix it turns out is simply launching OBS from macs terminal by putting this code in and hitting return:

/Applications/OBS.app/Contents/MacOS/OBS

this solved both audio issues from the get go with no need to change any settings
