Hello, I've got this issue when I'm streaming on Facebook. When I test the star alert before going live, I could see the popup and hear the alert sound. I can also see that it is registered in the OBS mixer. But when I go live, I could only see the popup. The problem here is that I play viewing a different monitor, hence, if I don't hear the notification alert, I won't be able to see it. This makes me look like a snob for not being able to acknowledge viewers who are sharing my stream. I would only know about the notification if I view OBS by chance and if I replay my stream afterwards.
I tried toggling the option to control the browser source audio via OBS. Nothing changed. If this bit helps, I played a video on Youtube on a different tab and I could hear the audio from it when I replayed my stream. Since the Youtube audio came from a browser, shouldn't I be able to hear the audio for the Facebook alert? Also, I'm not sure if this is helpful but my Facebook alerts box is popped out (should it remain on the Facebook dashboard?).
I've tested this on both Nintendo Switch and iOS streams. I'm using the latest OBS, latest Big Sur, Elgato HD60S+, Plantronics headset/mic, default webcam. Everything looks good: video, game sound, mic, Discord audio chat, except for the Facebook alert sounds. Attached is the log file of my last stream. I hope it's not a compatibility issue.
