No signal in OBS from Zoom Livetrak L-12

Hi everybody
OBS seems to be a fantastic software and I'm really excited to use it to livestream live content.

I'm facing a challenge: OBS can "see" my Livetrak in interface mode; I can select it as a source for audio; but no reaction on the meter. No sound.l

The same computer running ProTools does get sound from the Livetrak.
Any ideas?
This is on a Lenovo Legion
