Question / Help No signal from video capture device

so heres the story i recently took over my churchs technical responsibilities one of which being our live stream and it was working fine until last night when i got no signal from the video capture device attached is a log file from last night please if anyone can shed any light on whats wrong and how i can fix this it is greatly appreciated.

Can you see input from this device in any other software? Does it show up as a video device in any other applications, like Skype?

The above just looks like the capture device has failed.

thats what i saw when i looked through the logs but its showing up when i test the video capture i can see images from it but it doesnt work for obs

If the device functions but cannot be used in OBS, then the problem may be that it is configured in OBS for a resolution or framerate that it doesn't support, or the device is being used exclusively by other software and so is unavailable to OBS.

so i played around in obs and updated everything and did pretty much everything i could think of to get this to work attached is the new log file and its wierd because i get signal on obs i can see the image in preview but when i go to stream its not sending anything not audio or video to the streaming service please advise thanks

if you get the time i posted a new log file from today i am still actively trying to fix the stream issue before our next service on sunday

I don't see the error relating to the video device anymore. If the image shows in preview it should be sending to the stream.

can you think of any possible reason why it wouldnt be sending to the stream? a setting or something that may have been accidentally changed or an error with the host site?? just need some insight in to where to look to try to get this running

fixed the issue thank you for your assistance process of elimination wins out in the end (someone somehow reset the stream key on the host site so we werent sending to anything) thanks so much for helping me get through this
