Question / Help No Signal - Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme cap card

Hello,

Ive been using regular OBS for quite some time with this capture card, and it works just fine. I downloaded the multi-platform to check it out and see if it works any better and to mess with some of the new feature. I stream from a separate PC using this capture card, and i cannot get it to detect the video signal from the card no matter what i do. Below is a link to the log. I added a "Video Capture Source" and selected my Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme, like i would do in regular OBS, but for some reason it shows up in the scene with a really small 4:3 resolution and it says "No Signal". If i close OBS Multi-Platform, and open regular OBS, or Avermedia's game capture software, it picks up the cards signal just fine. Any thoughts on things i can try?

I have tried removing the source and re-adding it, deactivating it and re-adding it, manually setting the resolution and FPS in the source properties, and also tried using the 64-bit version with no change.

Any help is appreciated.

This thread can be closed. It just fixed itself. I restarted both machines countless times, but this one time seemed to fix it.

Make sure you're using the august driver for the LGX and not that latest October driver, or you'll get no audio output to your stream. OBS MP has not been updated yet to work with the latest driver

make sure you're actually setting the correct resolution in the Avermedia's properties (within OBS MP)

I set my settings to match the source resolution which is 1920x1080 as well. No luck.

I realize the LGX works for OBS Classic on a windows 10 computer. , but OBS Studio doesnt.
LGX does not work for both OBS Classic and Studio on a windows 7 computer.

Can somebody explain and provide a solution ? Thanks
