Question / Help No scenes but OBS starts at 50% CPU usage

I'm on windows 10, i5-6600k cpu
this pc is stricly a streaming computer so i'll be using a gamecapture but currently CPU usage is 50% when starting OBS, idle. adding video capture sources raises is up to 90%. I've disabled GameDVR too ( i saw a lot of suggestions on different threads to do that)

I lowered the fps to 30 and resolution to 1280x720 but still starts at 50% cpu.

decided to try uninstalling and installing again, did first part ofo auto config, just lowered fps and resolution there. it's actually worse when newly installed i get 70% cpu usage! without scenes or sources yet.

so weirdly i just installed my driver when i posted this log. uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing changes. the log still doesn't recognizes my driver. i'm using rx 470 and i'm using the latest amd driver 18.5.2 may 29 update. i've tried older versions of AMD driver too but i just can't figure out what version will work. and it's a pain in the ass to have to wipe clean the driver every attempt.
