Dear Friends!
I've connected VHS useing 2 cinch (AUDIO and VIDEO OUT) to my laptop with vhs grabber.
The sound is fine and can be recorded but I cannot see any video/picture.
All I can see is a blue screen, however I can see information from VHS menu - like PLAY, SET THE TIME, STOP.
It means that OBS see vhs but is not able to show the video (only sound).

Please help!

I am having the same issue. I started digitizing my old VHS-C tapes last spring and didn't have any issues. But I stopped during the summer and just recently started backing up my tapes again. Now I get a few tapes that have a blue screen for the video but the audio plays just fine. Sometime if I stop and start the VCR the picture will show up for a while. But this most recent tap has a blue screen almost all of the time. I'm using an RCA to HDMI converter and Video Capture card from Amazon. Both have been working great until recently. I wish there was a fix for this.

Hello, did you get this resolved somehow? My VCR - Video Capture Card - Laptop connection was producing A/V output. Now I have silence and a black screen, but I can tell the Card is capturing the audio.

My recommendation - start at the Operating System (OS) level... ie clean boot, OBS Studio NOT running (even in background).
Use native operating system tool (like Windows Recorder or similar) to view video from capture source... if that isn't working, OBS Studio won't be able to help. If video capture isn't working at OS level, check with capture device mfg for support (firmware update, config settings, etc). And beware cheap adapters... often cheap for a reason...
Beware old VHS is typically 480i (interlaced) video (for old TVs) vs progressive as is the current norm

good luck
