I have a 27" Mac monitor that has a built-in camera. It is a second display for my Macbook Pro. OBS recognizes it, and it seems to work while I'm setting up a scene. However, I set up a Periscope stream, and the Preview within Periscope affirms that I'm sending stuff to Periscope. Unfortunately, it seems to capture a single frame of video, resulting in a live stream that has the equivalent of a still image, with audio working "as expected."
===> Incidentally, the Periscope settings in OBS are mostly helpful; and Periscope "Producer" gives warnings when you are testing your stream, with suggestions. This got me far enough to actually test a live stream. So that is a plus.
I'm a noob, and plan to experiment some more with this. However, if someone knows of a solution for this, or can offer suggestions for some settings that I might change, etc., I would love to hear it.
