First, thank you for any help that can be rendered.
I'm a new adopter of OBS overall, and am trying to convert to OBS Studio so that I can use the features like multiple tracks and webcam filters, and I am struggling and struggling hard with one single problem:
I can't make this program record from any microphone.
I've tried two different headsets, the built-in microphone on my computer, AND the one built into my webcamera. They all indicate in OBS Studio that they are detecting sound. The green bar moves for all of them.
When I try to record, however, the program absolutely refuses to pick up any sound from ANY microphone source. I can pick up game audio, desktop audio, webpage audio, but not anything from any microphones at all.
I have tried viewing the recordings on several different programs; no change.
I have tried recording again with OBS Classic: the Microphones work with no problems, and there is much joy and dancing in the streets.
If someone can help me troubleshoot this, it would be wonderful.
