Question / Help No mic input when Focusrite 2i2 connected

Dear all,

since yesterday OBS studio 20.0.1 isn't detecting any microphone input. I cannot remember that I made a change to the settings in the meantime, but I think I didn't.

When I disconnect my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface (USB), microphone signals are detected. But when I connect it, NO audio input resource is showing input. Yet, I can select the device in OBS' settings. Also, in the windows sound panel Focusrite is set as the default device and showing normal input.

I would appreciate any hint what the problem might be! Thank you.

Right now I got it to work when I disconnect the USB while OBS is running and reconnect in the same session. I need a few seconds that the microphone/audio interface is detected, but now at least it works consistently.

I am also encountering the same issue. Nico, you should attach a Dxdiag to help the devs fix the problem.
