Please help me. I keep getting the same error no matter what I do. Here is what I have done.
-Reset my stream key
-Tried to stream to youtube and twitch, neither of which worked
-disabled firewall
-downloaded twitch bandwidth test. All servers fail.
-lowered bitrate/resolution/fps
-changed servers(I tried them all)
-switched between wifi and ethernet
-uninstall and reinstall OBS
-I even tried other software(xsplit and gameshow), also did not work
-tried manually entering my preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8
-restarted my computer
-tried all "Bind to IP" options including default
-And finally I called my network provider to see if they were somehow blocking broadcasting and they told me nothing should be blocked
I have attached my log file. I really only want to stream to twitch but I tried to stream to YouTube to see if that changed anything but I got the same "Failed to connect to server" message.
If anyone has any idea please help.
Thanks,
Killtroxx
Edit: At this point I am about 90% certain it is the network. I downloaded OBS studio on my other computer which is a laptop and took it to the library on my college campus. It worked there but not here in my apartment. I will have to call them again tomorrow but I would still like to hear any other ideas to fix this problem.
