Question / Help No matter what I do.. Elgato won't sync.

I just transferred over to OBS Studio and I have to say I love the new design, but everything is less complicated which is a good thing but for me.. very hard to understand. I switched because the green screen looked 1000x nicer.

Anyways, throughout all of my struggles I tried the Y splitter like on youtube, that didn't work..

I tried using Waveform? but now everything is off sync, tried setting Async to 650 as noted with the HD 60.. Nothing.

Set the webcam to 3ms delay and it fixed it.. until 1 hour into the stream and now I am off sync.

Are there any serious guides that will fix it? Because all of the guides I have seen are recommendations or personal preferences..

Hi Brandon,

Please make sure the HD60 is plugged into the back of your computer in a black USB 2.0 port, and that in the device properties, buffering is enabled.

This happens to me quite often especially when I don't use El Gato for a little bit. You need the free program that El Gato recommends you have. When OBS and El Gato won't sync, I exit out of OBS and open the free El Gato program. I wait for those to sync with each other and when they do I exit out of El gato's free program and re-open OBS and it syncs. I would have deleted that free program long ago, but I still have it because of this very reason.
