Question / Help No Intel QuickSync Option

Today I upgraded OBS to the newest version but under my Output and Encoder options, I only see Software (x264) and my default Hardware (NVENC) option. Is there something I need to do to correct this? I would appreciate any help and suggestions!

Your system doesn't physically support quicksync.

I have the same problem. Updated with version 21.1.2 and the selection disappeared. Temporarily I use the old 32-bit version.

@vvo1tv you don't actually have the same problem, yours is a driver issue.

Is not driver issue, new version 22.x on laptop's with nvidia card run GeForce (default) and this remove qsv, when run on intel card, qsv is visible.

Unknown, but your computer is reporting dual nvidias instead of nvidia plus intel now.

I remembered! When version 22 was installed, a message popped up about the need to update the Nvidia driver. It seemed strange to me, because everything worked before. And the video card Nvidia GT630M does not support NVENC and it is not used in the OBS.

Ah, I saw it! OBS does not see the Intel graphics card and determines that I have two video cards Nvidia 630. And what should I do? Now I'll try to force Nvidia to assign Intel instead of auto-select for OBS

It worked! But it's strange. Because the auto-selection in the settings of the Nvidia Center showed that by default the built-in Intel graphics card is selected for the OBS.
