Bug Report No idea why OBS is crashing, Only one source open.

Hi. I stream using two instances of OBS.

One is the normal version, the other is the FTL version. I do this so I can stream to YouTube, while also streaming to beam an achieving the sub second FTL streams. Using less than one OBS is not an option.

My set up is that almost everything is controlled out of the standard OBS Studio 18. I then use a preview to monitor and then use a window capture within OBS 18FTL to capture the preview that OBS 18 Standard is outputting.

I only have that one source open in OBS18FTL, yet OBS FTL keeps crashing. I've also tried using monitor capture. But OBS18FTL just keeps crashing for some unknown reason, and it just started doing this a couple days ago. Not sure if a windows update did something or what. It used to run flawlessly. OBS18 Standard runs fine. OBS18FTL and OBS18Standard each have their own profiles and scene collections. The FTL OBS scene collection is barren, only 1 scene and one source.

I'll post some logs. These crashes are not producing crash logs. I'm just getting "obs64.exe has stopped working" and the whole thing goes down. Crash log directory isn't producing anything for FTL.

Please help. My stream crashes are so random as well. Sometimes after 15 minutes, sometimes after an hour.

I've done sfc /scannow to fix windows problems. I've tried reinstalling OBS FTL. I'm considering installing OBS FTL on a different drive to see if that helps.

Bumping in case anyone has a shot at helping it. I've had to stop using OBS FTL and have been using Xsplit because I cannot for the life of me figure out what it going on with this problem.

You have an extremely high number of sources. Remember every scene has every source active in Studio. You may want to move some of those to scene collections.

That's the thing, That isn't what is crashing. It's the OBS that has only 1 source and 1 scene.

I use regular OBS Studio 18 to project onto one of my monitors.

The OBS FTL (the one that is crashing) just has 1 scene, with a window capture of the preview. If you see any other scene information in the log, it's because OBS opens up with those scenes initially and then I'm switching my scenes collections and profiles from there. Here they are side by side. The one on the left (OBS FTL) is the one that is crashing.

Might also be noteworty to know that this worked flawlessly for about a month. Then one day it just stopped. Not sure if a windows update caused it to break or what. But multiple reinstalls haven't helped at all.
