Question / Help No h264 option?

So my friend wants to get into recording, and as I was going through settings with him, I noticed he didn't have any type of h.264 encoder. Just x264.

He just installed obs studio, and when I installed it, I had the h.264 option.
He has an AMD dedicated card, just like me, and has an fx 8350

Why doesnt he have the h.264?

x264 is h264 encondig

Well I mean I've always had The amd h.264 encoder where as he only has x264, even with all amd hardware.

Either vc++ dll not installed (2015 required if you installed plugin manually before v17.0.0) or drivers outdated. Also, update OBS Studio to the latest version (v17.0.0)!
