I use ps4. just got an elgato chat link so that i could use my headset to talk and hear the game while im streaming. OBS picks up the game audio when my headset is unplugged. When i plug in my headset to my controller i can hear the game audio in my headset, but the game sound goes silent in the stream and in OBS. I need the game sound to be playing in both my headphones and the stream at the same time for the games that i play.
i had to set up my elgato as a NDI source because im on a mac, I've found solutions to this problem when it's set up as a video capture source but not as a NDI source.
I also have desktop audio set up in OBS, i don't think that is the reason for not having any game sound, as the game sounds works when my headset isnt plugged in. but i have a second question, is there a way to have both game sound and desktop audio playing in my headset if it is connected to the controller?
