No game chat recording

Hey There,
I've been using OBS and have setup application audio capture so that i can have all my audio on different tracks.
Although when I do this the output for Game Audio does not pickup ingame voice chat. I have tried setting up different audio tracks to pickup ingame chat but cannot get it to capture it.
The only way OBS is capturing from what I've seen is when i record the desktop audio. But this also captures all other audios, overlapping the audio on separate tracks. I wish to have my game audio track also record ingame voice chat or have ingame voice chat on its own track.

Edit:
I've figured out the issue. The game outputs game chat and game audio independently.
But Application audio capture doesn't record the game chat output.
So I need to output my game chat audio to a separate output, then record it from there.
But I want to also hear the game chat while recording the game chat, I tried outputting my game chat to my Monitor having my monitors volume at 0(I only ever use headphones) and use monitor and output setting in advanced audio properties to hear the audio through my headphones which works fine... but sometimes the audio starts ringing at max volume. I'm unsure what causes this.
Does anyone know a workaround or a way to fix the audio ringing?

P.S I've looked at multiple things saying to use VAC and output my game chat audio to there as it will go to my headphones and I can record VAC. Although I'm unsure of how all of this works.

Solution:
Downloaded a virtual audio cable, have the game chat output to the virtual cable. In sound settings have "listen to this device" enabled.
Allows me to listen to the game chat through the virtual cable.
Then have OBS record the audio of my virtual cable.
