Question / Help No "Game Capture" option

I'm running OBS on Debian and when adding Sources I can choose: Image, Image Slideshow, Audio Capture Device (ALSA), Screen Capture (SSHM), Window Capture (Xcomposite), JACK input client, Audio In & Out Capture (PulseAudio), Video Capture Device (V4 L2), Media Source, Text (FreeType 2), VLC video source, or Scene.

No "Game capture".

I want to record a game (like Half-life 1) but there's no Game Capture option showing up even though that seems to be the recommendation.

How can I record games?

The way X11 works where all apps are windows there is no such thing as Game capture for linux, All can be captured through Window Capture and its the best available format atm
