I have the avermedia live gamer extreme setup with abox one and obs studio, i have used multiple tutorials on how to properly setup and optimise the audio and video. The problem I have is that its recording video and broadcasting it when I record/stream but I am not getting any game audio, I have my xbox hdmi cable on the hdmi-in slot and another in the hdmi-out slot going into my monitor, I then have the hdmi out going into a usb 3 slot on my pc. I then have my astro a40s connected to my xbox via optical cable and my pc via usb 2 and have this setup and working properly with obs for microphone audi (which obs picks up). I have my android mobile connected up to my pc via usb2 and using this as a webcam via droidcam (obs picks this up fine), I also have nightbot running and broadcasting music to my desktop which obs also picks up fine. I cant even hear the game audi through obs before i stream/record, it was working earlier with avermedias own software but now for the past several hours its not picking it up.

The second issue I am having is severe screen tearing on the obs screen, stream output and recorded videos. I have tried changing settings and usng vsync with opengl but that hasn't sorted the issue.

P.s. I have a customer AMD build.

Have you tried changing your xbox one to output stereo rather than 5.1 from the Settings app? I have this audio problem and it's always because I have 5.1

I would just like to post and update you on the situation, I have figured out what the problem was. In OBS I had the mic/aux set to use my astro headset as the microphone, I changed this to default and also changed desktop to default mode. I then had to go into my video capture device and set it from capture audio only to output desktop audio (waveout) and I finally went into my second video capture device (webcam) and changed this to output desktop audio (direct sound) and this seemed to fix all the issues I was having. Although I am still having the screen tearing every 40 seconds or so and am yet to find a fix for that.
