I've encountered an issue once I made a large-scale DAC upgrade from the Schitt Fulla to the AudioGD NFB-11.28. Whenever I record, I simply get no audio. Sometimes I may receive a small 0.1ms piece of the audio, like a crackle or a piece of the testing track, however from there the footage is devoid of audio. On OBS, I see the decible meter moving up and down as per the audio. This happens to all of the solutions I've tried, to which most times I restarted OBS and my computer repeatedly. VLC and other various players were used. One thing to note? Nvidia Shadowplay recorded all the audio; microphone, gameplay, desktop, flawlessly. OBS was only able to record the first. Testing scenarios were alone in a CS:GO map, Spotify, Youtube, and Tidal. None of these were picked up by OBS, whilst Shadowplay could pick every single one up. Yet, the logs for OBS show an apparent audio buffer.
Solutions I've tried:
-Clean user profile reinstalls of OBS (to the latest version, naturally.)
-Merging both the default desktop output and microphone audio into audio track 1, among other various audio track combinations.
-As per the logs, trying my DAC out on both Desktop outputs (Default and Device) at once. This fixed a Realtek issue I had before with the Digital Output of my Fulla.
-Changing my sample rate between 16 bit 44.1kbps and 16 bit 48kbps respectively for my DAC, likewise to OBS.
-Trying numerous bitrates within the audio settings.
-Changing both audio tracks and audio monitoring in "advanced monitor settings" all the while restarting OBS each time I've done this.
-Uninstalling the Amanero Technologies Drivers to support base windows/realtek audio. This yielded identical results.
-Switching from USB to Digital Output.
-Switching to Mono audio.
Again, to emphasize the point, I haven't had such an issue with Shadowplay. I didn't need to tweak a single thing in order to get it working. However, I prefer OBS' customization ability to Shadowplay's tenfold. Whatever assistance may be provided would be much appreciated. Thank you.
