Question / Help No desktop audio recorded whatsoever

I'm on Antergos, using Pulseaudio and audio recording worked fine two days ago (both mic and desktop audio) but yesterday they both just stopped working, the green audio bar thing doesn't show anything and I can't hear anything in my livestream (I'm streaming to Facebook), and I also tried recording a short video and it had no mic or desktop audio in it even though I did speak to the mic and played audio on youtube. Which config and/or log files should I supply to make it possible to troubleshoot this?

Just experienced the same issue (Ubuntu 16.04) and fixed it by un-muting the "internal audio monitor". It may not show up in your desktop's sound settings and you may need to install "pavucontrol". In pavucontrol, you'll find it in the inputs tab, then at the bottom of the window select "Monitors". The internal audio monitor (or whatever your actual audio output is) should show up, just make sure it is unmuted.

In Settings, you need to have a Mic/Aux choosen. I had this problem when I removed my USB headset. If you go back to Settings > Audio, make sure you have something (such as the Built-in Audio Analog Stereo) in the first Mic/Auxilary Audio Device. After you hit "OK", the main screen will show the Mic/Aux working in the Mixer window.
