Question / Help No Desktop Audio Output

OBS can detect audio but for some reason does not capture my desktop audio. It captures my mic/aux but not desktop audio so whenever I stream or record, it fails to output any desktop audio whatsoever. So basically i'm sitting there talking with no game audio.

It currently lists 2 types of speakers for my desktop audio: XSplit's speakers (because I have XSplit software also installed but I plan on dropping it if I can get OBS to work for me) and my laptop's speakers. It picks up neither of these.

Can someone help me with this?

Yes i see the entry for Desktop Audio. There is no green level bar - there's no bar moving at all, only for my mic. Even if i have a game playing or a youtube video playing in the background. Nothing.

There's also an option for camera and it's not picking up sound from it either. Though i don't know why that's an option under audio.

Please take a screen shot of your Settings, Audio page and your Edit, Advanced Audio Properties page so that we can see how your Audio is configured.

Please provide details requested in my previous post. Also confirm if you have a green level indicator for each device. Check a recording using VLC from Videoland.org.
