Question / Help No delay filter for Game/Window Capture

Hey guys, I'm not sure how to go about adding a slight delay to my game/window capture like I can with my video capture devices as there is no delay filter available to these inputs.

The reason I need to do this is that I am running my microphone through Adobe Audition to clean the audio and this produces a 200ms delay which I am able to sync my webcam to however I can't with game or window captures due to the lack of a delay filter.

is there anything I can do to achieve this delay of other video sources?

Edit: I am using OBS Multiplatform 0.12.3

Thanks!

I found a solution and I hope this helps someone who may be searching for the same thing!

What I did was give the audio buffer in advanced properties the value 2000, I then went to the mixer and put a -200ms (the delay I had) and this means the audio will buffer and record it with the delay removed!

Problem solved!

I'm dealing with his exact same thing. using Audition and all. I have everything set fine when I play console games, but when I play my 3DS there is no delay for the window capture I have to use, so my reactions are a second off if I want the cleaner audio.

1. You mentioned giving audio buffer in advanced properties the value of 2000, was this in Audition or OBS?

2. And same for the mixer, is that the OBS mixer, or the mixer in Audition? (I'm thinking this is

Chances are there may be a difference from 0.12.3 to the current version of 0.15.4 if I'm not finding the same options you are listing. I'd use the built in noise suppression filter on OBS leaves this weird spectral noise.
