NO CBR rate control for Apple VT H264 ?

I just update to OBS28 and the CBR Rate Control option for Apple VT H264 Hardware encoder is gone :(
When i try ABR rate control option for stream on Twitch its show only black screen with fine audio. Any solution ?

PS. now i use x264 for streaming and its so much consume my cpu power ( i got laggy screen while streaming bcuz of rendering rate drop )

Hi there,

I have Similar issues, I stream to youtube and on ABR settings I get Keyframe interval Issues.
If i switch to Software encoder I can select CBR which works fine but really is heavy for the processor.

macOS Ventura 13.4

I edit really heavy video stuff on this for work without issues, yet streaming?!!
I stream from an xbox series S to an Elgato HD60x to my iMac.
My Mac Doesn't need to process any game just the footage and the stream.

Yet from day one I am struggling to set this up and to have it run smooth...

Please some one assist us!

Bump. I have the same issue but with a 2020 M1 Max Mac Book Pro. I still have OSX Monterey 12.6.8 and use OBS 29.1.3

Do I have to upgrade to Ventura to solve this issue?

Acabo de actualizar a OBS28 y la opción CBR Rate Control para el codificador de hardware Apple VT H264 se ha ido:(
Cuando pruebo la opción de control de velocidad ABR para transmitir en Twitch, solo muestra una pantalla negra con audio fino. ¿Alguna solución ?

PS. ahora uso x264 para la transmisión y consume tanto mi potencia cpu (obtuve una pantalla rezagada mientras transmitía bcuz de caída de velocidad de renderizado)
