No camera picture

OBS recognizes the camera but there is no video. Is there a spot in OBS to search for the camera or put in an IP address to get OBS to recognize the camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem now (I did not have this problem in version 16)
- When I add a video recording unit like my iPhone or Facetime camera, nothing can be seen in the in preview, no video image, no placelines in the preview widow, only a short red line in the left corner. What could this be?
- also I can not add an IOS Camera, nothing shows, even when I refresh or reconnect devices.
I have the newest v/32.0.1. This dysfunction also existed for me in version 30.

.... to add: I tried the IOS Camera plugin update - it did nothing for me.
- also I tried the starting in errormode - it did nothing.

- using the OBS auto setup to optimise for my Macbook Pro M1Max and the video for recording: then OBS shuts down.

ANY IDEAS?????
