So I've tried getting into OBS, and I've had some trouble getting it to work with my bluetooth headset with microphone. Before trying to use it with OBS I could pair it with my laptop and listen to Spotify without any trouble.
My aim was to listen to and stream Spotify while at the same time running Skype. I read in another post (https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/desktop-no-sound-when-obs-is-opened-other-issues.75366/ ) where user "koala" explains that bluetooth didn't work well unless you deactivated the microphone, so I did. He does so to help someone who cannot hear anything when OBS is running, but I am currently unable to use my bluetooth headset even after closing OBS down.
For a while I could hear the music on Spotify while OBS was running. Next I think I tried turning the microphone on because I wanted to try Skype while playing the music and streaming. Here something went wrong I guess, because I turned off my sound completely on my bluetooth headset and now I can't hear Spotify, my friends on Skype, any windows alert sounds, YouTube, etc.
When I disconnect my bluetooth headset the default laptop speakers kick in and the sound comes back. The same goes for my headset with a cord, no problem there either.
I've tried removing the bluetooth headset by unpairing it, and also turning bluetooth on and off on the computer, but no luck yet. I'm at a loss because I am not sure in which step I even messed up. Looking at the log files didn't do me any good because I am unsure what I'm looking for. I'll include all the logs I can find in my folder.
My goal right now is to restore the sound, then uninstall OBS, so I'm not trying to make it all work, I just want to go back to when my bluetooth headset worked. I really hope someone can help me with this. Thank you in advance!
