No AV1 options for A770

Hey,

Got an A770 explicitly for the AV1 capabilites when OBS released the version that supported it, but the only encoder options are H/S x264 and qsv, no AV1

System:

Arc A770 (monitor plugged into this, v: 31.0.101.4146)
i5 - 12400 (iGPU drivers disabled)
Windows 11
16GB DDR5 ram
MSI pr0 z-690A mobo

I believe the encoder is functioning as youtube picks it up and works with the av1 8k options and recognises it in the options.

Its a fresh install, all drivers and OBS have been reinstalled, what would you suggest?

I don't believe the hardware QSV AV1 has been implemented yet. As far as I am aware, it's only the NVENC and AMF/VCE version that is available in OBS currently.

Do correct me if I am wrong.

EDIT: You might be able to use HW AV1 encoding through the custom FFMPEG option, but keep in mind, that is not really meant for streaming. You *can*, but it takes a bit of fiddling with custom URL paths, the parameters for the encoder aren't as controlable as with a direct implementation, and FFMPEG has a tendency to crash for no reason. Your milage may vary.
