No audio

Can someone walk me through the steps on configuring the settings for audio with OBS? I've installed all the appropriate software (OBS and iShowU Audio Capture) but somehow, I'm not getting any audio on my stream. In fact, no matter how I do the settings, I'm not showing any audio SIGNAL in the meters underneath the video window. Please help. Thank you.

I was never able to get iShowU to appear in OBS ... I used Soundflower (2-ch) instead.

I used iShowU Audio Capture for a few months and had a lot of issues with it. I switched to Soundflower and found it to be much more stable.

If you're trying to route the system audio into OBS using iShowU (or Soundflower) then you must make sure that System Audio is also routed to iShowU (or Soundflower).

Hold the Option (alt) key + click on the speaker/volume icon on the menubar. You should be able to see and select available Audio Devices here. Select Output Device as iShowU (or Soundflower) here. Forgive me if I'm trying to teach you how to suck eggs!
