Question / Help No Audio? (Windows 8)

I have been trying to set this up for about an hour. I have my desktop audio and my microphone audio. When I click record i have no audio. I want streaming to be set to a 3500 bitrate and recording bitrate set to 15000. I would like my audio tracks to be separate. When I click the gear next to my mixer i see check boxes next to each device. Do i need certain boxes selected? As of now i have desktop on track 1 and microphone to track 2. I can see the levels on obs moving as I am talking and or have music in the background. But the recording does not pick it up. Any help?

Everything seems to be fine. What media player are you using? Have you tried in a codec-complete media player such as VLC?
