No audio to stream or monitor

Please help. I use a capture card and my laptop. I’ve got no game audio coming from monitor or to my stream. I have audio in my headphones. I have a audio splitter from el gato that is plugged into the laptop and controller. I’ve put everything in audio on monitor and output. Any ideas? My stream can hear the custom sounds that I’ve put on obs if that helps and they can hear me.
