Question / Help No audio through headphones

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this, if not I apologise. This isn't really an issue with OBS, but I could really use some help.

I have an ElgatoHD60 connected to an XBox One and a CAD USB Microphone all connected up through my PC. All the audio (game and mic) can be heard absolutely fine when streaming and in the recording but despite my efforts, I cannot get the game audio heard through my headphones. Mic? Fine. YouTube video? Fine. Xbox game sound? Nope.

Anyone have any ideas?

You would need to configure the Elgato's video capture source to output audio to your desktop audio device instead of only to the stream.

Sorry to bring this up again but been doing some testing and the only (I've found) to get the gamplay audio through my headphones is to have the Elgato Game Capture software open and using the Elgato. Obviously though this means OBS can't display gameplay because another application is using the device.

What am I missing?

Turns out this doesn't look possible in OBS studio so R.I.P that idea.

If this was in an older version of OBS, please can you put it into Studio because I prefer to hear all audio through my headphones
