Question / Help No audio registering in OBS (Hardware or ishowu)

I know about the limitations of OBS on MACs. I have IshowU installed and configured in OBS. I followed a good YouTube guide on how to setup ishowu.

The problem I am having is that no audio is capturing in OBS whether its ishowU or even my USB headset microphone which is configured as the mic audio and ishowu is mic audio 2. If my hardware mic isn't even registering I think there is something outside of OBS not configured properly?

Any ideas of things I could try to get audio to register in OBS.

If your microphone isn't registering either and you are using Mojave or above, it may be a permissions issue.
