Question / Help No audio playback at all in OBS Studio

I'm new to OBS and already pulled most of my hair out trying to get audio to play back.

I've set up OBS Studio to capture from my built in laptop webcam, it's a latest Dell Inspiron 5567.

OBS is capturing video but no sound at all.

My desktop audio device is Speakers / Headphones (Realtek Audio)
My Mic / Auxiliary audio device is Microphone (Realtek Audio)

I've tested OBS using a video as a source, recorded with the laptop webcam. The video plays but there's no audio.
Outside of OBS, the video plays back correctly with video and audio.

Looking at the latest log file below, which is completely alien to me, it seems to be very buggy in initiating loads of stuf the's required.

Can someone please explain what's going on with my set up.

OBS Studio does not playback audio by default. Only if you use audio monitoring.

The audio adjustment for every file and connection is just under the display called MIXER and has a GEAR ICON. That's where the AUDIO MONITORING is. By default everything will be set to Monitoring Off unless you change it.

Funny how you can be looking for something for 30 minutes and it's right in front of your face.
