Question / Help No audio on pre-recorded bumpers

I am a noob so if this topic has already been handled, then I apologize.
I have loaded an intro and outro video bumper with music into OBS for use during FB live.
I have the desktop audio set to default and an external mic with a headset.
I can't hear any audio in the OBS 'studio' and today when I went LIVE could'nt hear anything in my headset either.
I checked the FB recording which had audio from the external mic but nothing from the pre-recorded bumpers.

Does anyone have any idea where I start with troubleshooting this problem?

I'm not a OBS pro user myself, but let's start with some logical thoughts:
1. What format is your pre-recorded video? Maybe the audio format is not working well with OBS (Bitrate, Samplerate, Codec...)
2. Is your headset connected via 3,5mm audio jack? Or via USB? In the latter case it is a different audio device itself, which your "default" audio device cannot capture.
3. In OBS you can select which audio source is going to be recorded to a certain track. Did you check that? Check your recording for more than one audio track.

And like I mentioned above, I'm no pro in this, so what does FB stands for in OBS?

Thanks for the thoughts; FB in this case only refers to Facebook Live - sorry for the confusion
