Hey, guys just upgraded to windows 10 and am trying to get my OBS setup to do some recording but for some reason even though I can hear through my headset it's not picking anything up on OBS. But it does say I am picking up my mic but when I go to throw it in sony vegas it says that there are no audio files attached to it at all. So I'm a bit lost any help would be nice also if I need more detail please let me know I'll be sure to add more.

Thanks
King

Haven't tried with VLC will here in a sec but I have a razer Kraken headset.
Just opened with VLC and I do get my mic audio but since the desktop audio wasn't picking up on OBS it didn't show on the VLC still.
Did a little more digging and have gotten the both desktop and mic audio to pick up on OBS but when I try to move it into my sony vegas to edit audio doesn't show up on the mp4 that I exported it as from OBS is there any problem with MP4 or what. flv seems to work but doesn't do the multi-audio channels that I would like to use.

If you're recording multiple audio tracks, to verify that they're present in VLC you will need to select them individually from the Audio/Audio Track menu.

Some editing software doesn't like dealing with multiple audio tracks in mp4, you may need to extract the audio with ffmpeg or similar and import it into Vegas separately.
