No Audio monitoring after playing media source twice

So I’ve imported an MP3 to use as my intro. Before I play it upon first opening OBS, I’ll set the Audio monitor setting to “monitor and Output.” I’ll play the mp3 media source and it will play fine. I’ll be able to hear it through my Apollo Twin headphone jack just fine. But if I stop the mp3 and then play it again i get no sound coming out of my Apollo! I Can see the meter moving but no audio. I have to physically go BACK to the audio monitoring setting for that media source, switch it to something different, then switch it BACK to “Monitor and Output.” I can’t be doing this every single time. OBS on my Mac didn’t do this. I’m running windows 10 with an Apollo Twin USB
