no audio into OBS

Hi. I'm using OBS on my MAC M2 Pro and streaming using the Behringer UCA222 audio interface. The interface is sending audio to the MacBook and I have set up OBS to receive audio from the UCA222 but I'm not getting any levels. Also tried configuring the laptop mic with OBS and that doesn't work either. Please advise??? Thanks!

Does OBS have permission? That's an operating system setting that has tripped up a lot of people.

That permission is denied by default, as a privacy thing...
