No Audio Input

Using latest OBS and MacOS softwares, and using a BMD Web Presenter I am not getting any audio into OBS. Whats even more frustrating is that I cannot even get OBS to recognize the internal mic. I checked in System preferences and I can see signal from both inputs, but am not getting any input into OBS. Just for grins I tried VLC and was able to get audio to show up there. I then tried on a separate laptop and it is working there, so I know my cabling and signal flow is correct. . Checked ALL settings and they are the same. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still no luck. Trashed the preference folder and still no dice. What should be my next step?
 
I found the problem, do this:
Go to.....
-System Settings
-Security and integrity
-Integrity
-Microphone
-Check the box OBS (which is probably not checked)

This was automatically unchecked of some reason for me!
