Hey,
so I'm new to OBS and wanted to do a DJ Stream together with some other djs. For all my colleagues it worked pretty easy, they just went from dj controller to the sound card and used the sound card as audio source in OBS. I wanted to us one Macbook for djing with Serato Dj and my Pioneer Ddj Sx2 Controller and a second MacBook for the stream. I tried this with 4 different soundcards (Motu Ultrarote mk3 Hybrid Audio Interface, Serato SL4, Denon Dj DS1, iRig2), 3 different MacBooks (did a clean install on one MacBook to see if any program on my Mac is the issue), different cables and also two different dj sources (Pioneer Ddj Sx2 Controller & Technics Turntable with a vinyl record) and still can't get a signal in OBS. The thing is, that the signal is going to the laptop, I tried recording the sound signal in Ableton live and it works perfectly and I also hear the signal on my speakers that are connected to my sound card. The strange things I don't only have problems in OBS Streaming, I tried to participate in a Zoom stream. In the Zoom stream I get some audio, but it sounds so shitty and bad that I can't stream with this signal. I really have no more clue what to do, I googled for hours and tried everything and I am the only person from all my dj friends who has this problem. I also tried to route the signal through loopback, still no luck.
Has anyone an idea what the problem could be? I really tried everything that came to my mind and asked all my friends, some send me videos from their setup and it was exactly the same like mine.
I Uploaded all the log files that OBS saved. If you need more information just tell me.
Thanks Guys and greets
Julian
