Question / Help No Audio in Moviestudio Platinum 12

Hello,

I have recently updated to obs-studio and since then recorded footage does not show an audio track in moviestudio platinum 12. I can hear the sound if I play the mp4 with VLC though.
Also it shows the audio track in Moviestudio 13.

Any ideas?

This must be a limitation of Movie studio but I am a bit surprised as it's a Sony product and other Sony products work fine. With Vegas which is what I use I had to apply the latest updates to get Vegas to see the audio track(s). Either way you'd need to ask on a Movie Studio forum as it's not actually a problem with OBS studio unfortunately

It has always worked before with OBS Multiplatform. Thats why I'm creating the Issue here.

So what version of OBS did this work in? Did it work in 0.12.x and then stop working in 0.13.x?

Sony programs are known to be extremely picky about input formats.

The issue has been resolved. Switching from mp4 to mov file output fixed it :-)
