No Audio from Streamlabs Alerts on Laptop since latest OBS update

im not getting the audio from the alerts from streamlabs any more, just suddely stopped.

checked the alrts themselves. all fina dn the animation / text shows perfectly.

any idea how this happened?

This is not Streamlabs support...You'll have to go there for help..

That's exactly the point, it's OBS causing this. The alerts are fine in streamlabs, that's why I'm here.
