Question / Help No Audio from Media Source when streaming

Hello,

I’ve been trying to record and stream audio from media sources placed in different scenes in OBS. Some audio source is streamed and recorded, and some other don’t.

All the audio source have the same extension (mp3) and last for approximately the same time (less than 20 seconds).

What can I do ? Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Is anybody has an idea of the source of this problem ?

Even a suggestion or a little clue could help me.

If you have working cam (virtual as well), please add it to the scene collection as 'Video Capture Device' source, then try to record and switch all scenes with your media sources. Make sure that you didn't miss the tracks (Advanced Audio Properties), then post this new log. If media source fails to play your file - now this event could be logged to the file (if there is no working cam in the scene collection, then it's hard to troubleshoot the issue).

I don’t know if I completely understood your request, but I think this is what you've requested.
Thank you very much !

Hmm, actually, there is no problems for reading files by OBS Studio via Media Source in this log.

I can recommend, to check the application behavior with VLC Video Source (VLC player required 32/64bit). Also, make sure that you not switching scenes too fast (when previous audio source still playbacks at Mixer's list and you switching back to it again).

By the way, there is to much memory leaks in your setup - 522, probably some external plugin fails. Try clear OBS Studio install (v18.0.1 is available).
