Question / Help No audio from IP camera

Hello!

Found a few questions on the matter, but no answer...
I'm trying to stream live video from an IP camera to Youtube.
Using rtsp://user:pass@camera IP:554/stream1

Video streaming works file. So does streaming audio from the PC microphone or a media player (i.e. playing an MP3 file).
However, streaming the audio from the IP camera doesn't work. I have iSpy installed on the same PC and I do get audio using the same RTSP URL.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I had the something similar today.

As default I have an IP camera as a "Media source" in OBS. This camera also produces audio. But today after starting the PC there was no audio output visible in the audio mixer section. When I inspected the "Advanced audio properties", the source status was "inactive".
Did have this before. As if the stream does not sent audio. Restarting the PC did not help.

Then I added the same IP camera as "VLC video source". This showed video and audio right away!
The strange thing is that it also somehow enabled the audio stream of the "Media Source" input again and I now had two audio streams.
I deleted the VLC again and everthing works fine.

Any clues someone?
