I'm having problems setting up OBS on my new MacBook Pro, which runs Big Sur. I have the most up-to-date version of OBS installed.
What I am trying to do is to capture the audio being ouput from another computer. To do this I have a Behringer UCA202 audio interface plugged into my MACBook and the sound settings are set to use it for input and output. I've tested it in Garage Band and can record audio from the other PC and play the recorded musc back and hear it via the amp and speakers the UCA202 is conneced to.
When I open OBS and select the audio source it does not capture anything. I have tried using installing iShowUAudioCapture and follwoing the set-up process for it. I have tried selecting all combinations of audio inpt and output sources as sources for OBS but none of them capture any audio.
I feel I must be missing something fundamental here and any advice would be greatly received as I am stuck.
